The Air Jordan X, MJ's 1st shoe to release while he was playing baseball, was released in very limited numbers in select city's around the country. Seattle, Sacramento, NY, Orlando, and Chicago all saw some great colorways drop.  Needless to say, these are "Grail Status".  We would argue that this could possibly be the last DS pair in this size (11.5) left in the world.  An incredilbe pair, these are simply jaw dropping.   We hope that you enjoy looking at them as much as we have.  A great investment and / or centerpiece for your Air Jordan Collection.  All pics are of the actual shoes taken in Aug 2013.

One of the most loved sneakers of all time...the Air Jordan 11.  Here we have a look at the 2001 Retro set which saw the "Cool Grey" introduced.  All of them are iconic....can you rank them in terms of impact that they have had on the industry?  

Examples : The Concords lead to a "Patent Leather" revolution....pretty much every sneaker it seemed featured patent leather for the next 10 years or so thanks to this shoe.

The Cool Grey's, the first Air Jordan to feature an all grey upper and a newly introduced colorway to an already prestigious lineup.....these lead to a "Cool Grey" colorway on pretty much every Jordan model since, and has impacted the rest of Nike Basketball as well.  

Which model get's your vote?  It's too easy to say "All of the above".

It's ok, you can stare.  They wont crumble just by looking at them.  Here we have an original release (1991) pair of the Air Jordan VI Black / Infrared.  One of the most beloved Air Jordan's of all time, both for their beauty as well as MJ's accomplishment's in them.

Durabuck upper with Reflective 3M elements embedded in the upper. Translucent outsoles with the classic Lace Toggles as well.  They have yet to Retro with the 3M, so we can only hold out hope for that.  It really makes the shoe stand out.  

Until then, enjoy this DS OG pair.  We certainly are.  : )

This past weekend saw the release of the highly anticipated "Fear Pack", with these Fear 5's being the most limited of the three.  On release day, many were disappointed to not be able to secure their pair and then challenged by the asking prices of $400-$500 by many who did get them.

Did JB mess this one up?  Should they have made them more widely available?  Or is it exciting to chase a pair ?

The Beloved "He Got Game" Air Jordan 13 Retro returned on March 16th, 2013 to stores.  They were a huge hit and an instant sellout in most areas.  Unfortunately, as is the case with several big releases these days, the "Grey Market" got their hands on them as well.  The pair on the left is the 100% Authentic Retail pair, the pair on the right is the "Grey Market".  We will go on to discuss the differences below.....

(left = Retail Pair , Right = Grey Market) Note the differences in the Rubber toe bumper

(left = Retail Pair , Right = Grey Market) Note the differences in the Jumpman on the tongues as well as the stitching on the inner.  The Authentic pair has all black stitching, where the Grey Market pair has white contrast stitching along the lace loops.

 

(left = Retail Pair , Right = Grey Market) Note the differences in the Holograms they are subtle as well as the sticker on the Authentic Pair (like the OG's)

Authentic on top, the color of the red is a bit faded (almost dusty)

Jumpman on box is a bit different in size

Box Fonts are a bit off.  Note the lowered "13" on the 9.5 as well as the font of the Jumpman23.com
